Craftsman

Millers Falls also made miter boxes for sale by Sears, Roebuck and Company as part of its “Craftsman” brand. Other than labeling there do not appear to be any substantial differences between the Craftsman models and those offered under the Millers Falls name.

For a brief period of time from approximately the late 1950’s through mid-1960’s, Sears offered a presumably enhanced Craftsman product line known as “Craftsman Commercial.” These too appear to be part-for-part identical to the corresponding Millers Falls badged versions of the same time period.

  • A Sears catalog from 1972, (see p. 85), while it advertises miter boxes, would appear not to show any that are certainly identifiable as Langdons. The first miter box image on that page however, uses Sears part number 3650 which heretofore had been that assigned to Langdons.
