All Steel 1124A

The Goodell-Pratt “All Steel” 1124A miter box is deceptively heavy for its middling size (18″ long by 4-1/2″ deep, backstop is 3″ tall). The swing arm is a whopping 1/2″ thick! This is clearly a tool that was designed to withstand the rigors of a job site.

The elevator locking mechanism is uniquely Goodell-Pratt’s. While similar in concept to those found on later Millers Falls models it is not interchangeable with them.
