H.C. Marsh

On or about 1903, the H.C. Marsh Company of Rockford, Illinois, manufactured a “Marsh Langdon Improved” mitre box that bears and uncanny resemblance to the Langdon company’s “New Langdon Improved” model. One wonders whether a patent and/or trademark infringement lawsuit may have subsequently erupted. It does not appear that the Marsh Company was awarded any patents for this style of miter box but there just has to be more to this story.
