All Steel 1264C

This specimen, from the mid 1950’s or mid 1960’s, makes for an interesting contrast with the older Goodell models. One can see that Millers Falls kept the multi-piece “truss” style of frame (though with fewer individual pieces than the older models), yet incorporated many of the same parts used in the Langdon product line (particularly the swing arm, guides, lever, length stops, feet, etc.) The cutting capcity may have been slightly less than a Langdon (it used a 24×4 saw), but the box itself was almost as long and about as heavy as a Langdon.
