All Steel 1306C (1950)

The approximate date of manufacture of this specimen, September, 1950, is deduced from a stamping found on the underside of the quadrant. This practice of stamping the castings seems to have commenced on or about 1950.

Observe how Millers Falls evolved the Goodell “All Steel” miter box, to include many of the modern swing arm, saw guide and stock holding components used on the Langdons of the period while retaining the flat bar feet of the Goodell predecessors.
